Thazeros
“The winds of magic are breathed by the great elephant.”
Known as the teacher of sorceries and the master of the mystical, he cast aside the darkness by smoking it in a great ivory pipe. He strode forth and greeted the other Divines, and gifted them each with mystical wards and powerful sigils to protect them against the Outer Darkness.
Marath asked his assistance in creating the Forge of the Sun, and Thazeros utilized all of his knowledge to enchant the creation so that it could never be quenched by darkness. He also placed great wards, so that those that attempted to besiege the Forge would be consumed from within by the Eternal Flame.
He later retired to his great library, a sanctum called Alurumi, where he penned great works of magic. When the world was new, he descended and walked among the Ar-Nura, teaching them the mystical arts. He also taught the Ar-Nura how to harvest reeds and bark and make the first parchment and paper.

Appearance
While he often appears as a nondescript wizard in blue robes, some of his earliest depictions from the Ar-Nura show him with the head of a great elephant, although in place of tusks, he had two great smoking pipes. He is almost always depicted to have more than two hands, most commonly three, but as many as seven.
He is also known to be a jolly old fellow, a man of significant stature and merriment, who enjoys both mead and smoking. He is said to know the secret stories of all herbs and can create blends to both smoke and season.
Followers
While many of those who praise him are spellcasters and those who study magic, there are just as many who are simple accountants, scribes, and librarians.
Common Practices
Many practitioners of the mystic arts praise his name when they discover a secret of magic, or learn a new method of harnessing magic… while others curse his name when they fail to cast a spell again and again.
Wizards and spellcasters will often draw the head of an elephant somewhere in their spellbooks, and some even use his depiction as an illustrative ward against those who would snoop into the forbidden tomes of warlocks.
Some more devoted of his followers will burn incense to him as they study and reflect on the ways of magic.
