Narunae
“And Marath was given a lock of Narunae’s hair, and with it he painted the sky.”
The second of the Divine to emerge from the darkness, trailed by her sister Ghesheya. She was pulled to the light of Marath. In those times, she became the lover of Marath, and when he created the world, she gave birth to the First People, and among them were the Ar-Nura.
Unfortunately, as Marath slumbered in the night, there was nothing to keep the horrors from the Outer Darkness at bay, and thus with regret, she left Marath’s side. She carried forth a mote of his essence to light the night sky. As the nights go by, she turns her attention to other parts of the sky, to keep the darkness from sneaking up behind her. Only during an eclipse does she allow herself to be distracted by her love.
She governs cycles, as her face turns to shift her view from the world to the darkness and back again over the course of a month, so too turns the rhythm of all things. From her love for Marath comes the drum beating within every heart, and she even summons the sea toward her twice a day.

“Behold, Narunae,
Pale Beauty of the Night,
She smiles down upon us,
And gifts us with her light.”
