Tychar Sendus
A former soldier turned philosopher, he fought for the Bastard Reynard during the Claim of the Bastard. During his service, he suffered an arrow wound to his leg that he noted still caused him discomfort years later.
He would be instrumental in deciding the fates of many soldiers when he penned a long letter to the Bastard Reynard, asking that the men who fought against him be given a reprieve. In the letter, he voiced that by not committing soldiers to the noose Reynard would not have to deal with an uprising years later from the sons and daughters of those who would be executed. Later historians would attribute this letter and Reynard’s decision to spare those lives as the reason the next two decades would pass by rather peacefully.
