Welcome to the Thrune Online Database (“Database”), the official platform for managing character entries and player information for the live-action role-playing game (LARP) Thrune (“Game”). By accessing or using the Database, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
- You are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.
- You have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
- You acknowledge that Thrune reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering for an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity conducted under your account.
- Thrune reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or misuse of the Database.
By submitting a character entry or related information, you grant Thrune a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and use this information for Game-related purposes, including:
- Scenario creation and event planning.
- Gameplay progression and narrative continuity.
- Sharing character details with other players when required by gameplay mechanics.
Thrune may modify your character’s information without your consent to ensure compliance with Game rules and settings.
Personal information collected during registration or Game participation will only be used for:
- Game administration and communication.
- Emergency contact purposes.
- Compliance with legal obligations, if necessary.
Thrune will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Players are encouraged to submit user-generated content, including character backstories, images, and gameplay notes (“Content”).
- You warrant that any Content you submit is your own or that you have obtained all necessary permissions to use it.
- You agree not to submit Content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes on any third-party rights.
- Thrune reserves the right to moderate or remove any Content at its sole discretion.
- Thrune takes reasonable precautions to protect your information. However, no data transmission or storage system can guarantee 100% security.
- You agree that Thrune shall not be held liable for unauthorized access, hacking, or data breaches.
- Impersonate another person or player.
- Exploit the system for cheating, harassment, or any purpose that undermines the integrity of the Game.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Database or interfere with its functionality.
- The Database, its design, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Thrune.
- Players retain ownership of their submitted Content but grant Thrune the rights outlined in Section 3.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify the Database or its content without prior written consent from Thrune.
- Thrune reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Database for any player who violates these Terms and Conditions.
- Players may request account deletion at any time by contacting Thrune’s administrative team. Note that some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons.
- Thrune is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of the Database or participation in the Game, except where such liability is required by law.
- Use of the Database is provided “as is,” and Thrune disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
